The mistake wasn't discovered until the install team opened the first bundle. The face of every single panel was the correct color—Sky White RAL 9010. But the core? Wrong density. Not just slightly off—completely the wrong product code. I'd ordered the KS1000 RW (roof panel with a foam core meant for a different thermal load class). The spec called for KS1000 FR (fire-rated).
From the outside, it looks like I just clicked the wrong dropdown. The reality: that one click represented a failure in how our team verifies spec information before translation into a purchase order. That error cost $890 in return freight plus a 1-week delay while the correct panels were expedited.
