Kingspan QuadCore+ panels achieve R-values from R-14 (60 mm) to R-44 (200 mm) in our standard wall panel range. Cold storage panels can reach R-50 or higher in special-order thicknesses. Precise R-values depend on panel thickness, facing material and installation conditions. Our specification team can model U-values for your specific climate zone and building type using certified calculation tools.

Yes. Kingspan offers fire-rated insulated panels tested independently by FM Approvals, UL and BBA. Standard QuadCore+ wall panels achieve minimum 30-minute fire resistance; mineral wool core panels provide up to 120 minutes (EI 120) in certified assemblies. All fire ratings are verified to EN 13501-1 (Europe), ASTM E119 (North America) and local equivalent standards. Fire test reports are available on request for your local authority submission.

Kingspan insulated metal panel systems typically install 25–40% faster than traditional block or masonry envelope construction. The factory-fabricated panels arrive on site with all insulation integrated, eliminating separate insulation trades. Our Karrier Panel hidden-fastener system can be installed at up to 1,500 m² per crew per week in favourable conditions. Speed of installation varies by building geometry, panel profile and site logistics — our estimating team can provide project-specific programme guidance.

Kingspan panels contribute to LEED v4/v4.1 credits across Energy & Atmosphere (EA), Materials & Resources (MR) and Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) categories. Third-party verified EPDs, recycled content data, VOC compliance documentation and responsible sourcing certificates are all available in our Sustainability Documentation Pack — provided free of charge to project teams. BREEAM Mat 01, Mat 03, Ene 01 and Hea 09 credits have been achieved using Kingspan systems on multiple UK and European projects.

Standard Kingspan panels are available in over 40 standard RAL and Kingspan colour references with PVDF, polyester or Plastisol coatings. Custom colour matching to RAL, BS and NCS systems is available with minimum order quantities. Textured, perforated and micro-ribbed face profiles provide additional design flexibility.
