- Installation speed – Better-finished panels fit tighter and cut cleaner. The time saved on a 50,000 sq ft roof can offset the material cost difference.
I've reviewed over 200 insulation projects annually since 2020. In Q1 2024 alone, I rejected 14% of first deliveries due to spec violations—warped panels, wrong density, missing fire certifications. Every single one was from a budget supplier. Not one from the brands that invest in quality control, like Kingspan.
